When we think of Artificial Intelligence, perhaps what comes first to our mind are those machines that can simulate the human ability to think and perform autonomous tasks, such as building a car practically by them.

In today’s world, we are all surrounded by Artificial Intelligence that enhances our consumption patterns through recommendation algorithms when we visit an e-commerce site, for example. Not to mention the relevance algorithms, which permeate all of our browsing on social networks and today represent the springboard for turning teenagers into digital celebrities.


Google provides several resources based on machine learning and Artificial Intelligence. The main one, the search engine, does natural language processing and has Google Bot, a robot that crawls the entire web in search of the best search results.

On smartphones, Google is present through its virtual assistants who “talk” with users and even make calls and interact with contacts. Also on your cell phone, Google’s Artificial Intelligence categorizes photos through facial recognition.

A new Google Lens feature lets you find the same pattern on another piece of clothing from a shirt photo, for example. And after revolutionizing our journeys with Google Maps, the company launched Google Trip, the resource helps you create an itinerary for your next trip, organize destinations, and favorite places and even make the necessary reservations.


Amazon is able to analyze your digital behavior to make its purchase recommendations. Its product recommendation system is based on e-commerce Artificial Intelligence and is internally called “item-based collaborative filter”. Imagine watching a superhero movie on Prime – the company’s streaming system – and receiving an offer on the character’s t-shirt on the same day, via email?

In addition to knowing a lot about your consumption habits, at the other end – logistics – Amazon intends to use cameras to monitor its couriers while driving. The system is capable of filming and providing analysis based on Artificial Intelligence and notifying, for example, when the driver is distracted behind the wheel.

Personal assistants and smart homes

Companies like Amazon and Google are also surfing the segment of AI-powered personal assistants and smart homes, with products that bust the myth that automating a home is expensive.

In addition to smart light bulbs that are successful in homes, technology is also increasingly seen in home appliances, starting with Smart TVs with Artificial Intelligence. They already answer questions asked by users and can become smart home centralizers, to perform tasks, create routines or even go shopping. But other activities are increasingly common in Pak’s daily lives, such as turning on the air conditioning, controlling the temperature in the fridge, or setting the washing/drying machine cycle, all remotely.

One of the greatest examples of the use of Artificial Intelligence in digital marketing strategies is ad optimization. On Google or Facebook, technology helps with audience segmentation, taking a campaign to your most assertive and qualified target audience to considerably increase conversion rates.
Against all these advances, Artificial Intelligence has been used to spread deep fakes – videos that, despite being fake, are quite realistic. Generally, deep fakes are images that show someone performing actions they’ve never done or saying things that don’t match their nature.

In addition to the major international car manufacturers, giants such as Apple, Google, and Tesla believe that vehicle automation will have a positive impact on street and road safety and reduce fuel consumption.
